2022 Spring Break Trip

Per MG Tru Eyre, '79: Honored to spend the week again this year as the senior mentor for the USAFA rugby team traveling to the French Air Force Academy. Met with the US Consul General to France as well as the Academy Commanding General and Commandant. An afternoon watching the Patrouille de France display, and touring the Academy, then the rugby game in the evening. Terrific game which the US won 14 to 8 in a close contest. Great bunch of cadets

Practice with a high-level rugby team at the Rugby Club Jacou. Jacou hosted a bar-b-que, French style, at the club house. The Zoomies presented a team ball to the club as well as shirts and coins to the Captain, the President and the coaches
