Memorable Events

Harry (OIC) was a Mil Dept Instructor and a VMI grad. He set up trips in the fall of 74 and 75 to VMI. We won both matches

In fall 1975, Terry Williams, Keith Wilkinson, Jimmy Carter and Rich Carlson were selected to the ERRFU Select Side side and played in the Western Rugby Union Tournament. Sal Reza might have been on that side, too.
The Academy was invited to send a rugby side down to Reno by the Mayor to play an exhibition game against a touring New Zealand university side in the October of 1975. Cadet Loerakker won about $500 just to lose it later in the evening.
Steve Riewerts had to sit out our senior season (75-76) due to injury
