Memorable Events
The Aussies played a bunch of older club sides in the US but also us and Berkeley (who had beaten us at Nationals Spring ’86 and we lost to again at the U of A tourney.) We were up on East Sydney at half on a Wednesday after school; the 3 ringers from the bench cam in second half and though we ran them to exhaustion they prevailed. We found out all 3 of the subs were from the Wallibies and were sitting out because they didn’t expect much from a college side!
