We had two sets of jerseys... the old set was dark on the top and "faded" with a series of stripes into white at the bottom. These were older shirts and some of them, the blue had faded from the navy into something with a bit more purple in it. After Buffy Bowden died, we got new shirts (they had been on order for a while) and we all had her number on them for a while. That was much too confusing for a few refs, so we had the proper numbers put back on eventually.
