1992 Spring Women Portal
We had two sets of jerseys... the old set was dark on the top and "faded" with a series of stripes into white at the bottom. These were older shirts and some of them, the blue had faded from the navy into something with a bit more purple in it. After Buffy Bowden died, we got new shirts (they had been on order for a while) and we all had her number on them for a while. That was much too confusing for a few refs, so we had the proper numbers put back on eventually. We kept the black arm band for a while.

Memorable Events
(might have been 91) That Blue Bus.....Coach Avery hit a deer w/it in Utah, tore up the radiator the bus broke down in this incredibly tiny place ('Dawn', I think?), and we were stuck there, bored to death, for something like 11 hours. We walked up and down the 3/4 of a mile of pavement, I showed a couple of the gals how to feed grass to cows. One of the cows (a black feeder steer) licked Mo's hand, and she was just floored. (1992, I think. Winter time.)
