2019 Spring Men Portal
Throughout the spring season the team adapted to a series of changing rosters which gave a lot of playing time to younger players. The experience gained through solid competition at the All-Academy 7s, Las Vegas 7s, Bobcat 7s, and the Rocky Mountain Regional Championships will certainly pay dividends next year as the young players move into leadership on the pitch. With 12 out of 15 of the top 7s players returning the days ahead look bright.
The team convincingly won the Rocky Mountain Regional Championships beating CSU 49 to 0 in the finals to earn a position at the D1A National Championships. However, the team chose to decline the slot as the finals were moved to the weekend of ring-dance and the beginning of graduation activities. The team decided to stay with their prior commitments instead of travelling to the Nationals.
