Coach Rusert, an L300 level caoach, has served as the head coach of the volunteer coaching staff since the fall of 2015. During this time, AFA Women's Rugby has made five post-season appearances; four times to the USA Rugby Fall Elite Eight in 15s, including two championship game appearances and two USA Rugby Fall 15s Championship Title. In the spring of 2018 AFA Women's Rugby won the USA Rugby 7s National Championship Title in the non-varsity/NCAA Open Division. Rusert currently serves as the NIRA-NCAA Women's Rugby Commissioner and as a coach and director with Team 5785 and Palmer HS Boys and Girls Rugby, and Junior Tigers Summer Youth Rugby director. Previously, Rusert served as the commissioner for three women's and men's divisions of the Rocky Mountain Collegiate Conference from 2010-2017 and was the the founder of the USA Rugby/NCAA Emerging Sports initiative in 1996.

Amy Rusert
